Please Note:
Some GPS programs and internet sites, like MapQuest, get turned around in Alderson; they may try to take you across the Greenbrier River on a pedestrian bridge, or down Hill Street which is a Dead End. You may use the following latitude/longitude coordinates to locate AHH more accurately:

From The North/East/West:
- From Interstate 64, Exit 161, turn south on Route 12 and go 12 miles.
- In the center of Alderson, after passing Exxon station, turn left on Route 3 East and cross the Greenbrier River bridge.
- To go to Federal Prison Camp, turn right at the end of the bridge and follow signs.
- To go to Alderson Hospitality House, turn left at the end of the bridge and continue down the hill.
- At the "Speed Limit 25" sign turn right on Greenbrier Street.
- At the end of Greenbrier Street, turn left on High Street.
- AHH is the 3-story white house with green trim on the right (#203) on the hill. You may park in the lot on the left. For easier entry, you may also continue on High Street, turning right at the end, and going up the hill to the rear of AHH.
From the South:
- From Interstate 77N take exit 14 toward WV 20/Athens Rd.
- Turn right at the bottom of the exit/Mercer Springs Rd (2.6 mi until next turn)
- Turn left at WV 20 N (21.4 mi until next turn) This will take you through the town of Athens. Continue straight through the one stop light.
- Turn right at WV 3 E crossing the river (.3 mi)
- Off of the bridge take a slight right staying on WV 3 (21 mi until Alderson)
- Watch for the sign pointing toward Alderson. Soon after the sign, WV 3 will turn left over a bridge.
- Continue following WV 3 until you enter Alderson where WV 3 will cross the river. (There is no stop sign at this turn)
- To go to Federal Prison Camp, turn right at the end of the bridge and follow signs.
- To go to Alderson Hospitality House, turn left at the end of the bridge and continue down the hill.
- At the "Speed Limit 25" sign turn right on Greenbrier Street.
- At the end of Greenbrier Street, turn left on High Street.
